I am an urban explorer

Don’t presume to know who I am,

I am from everywhere and nowhere.

I am an urban explorer…

I know the city,

Its history, its layers,

Its invisible lines.

I follow pathways and alleyways,

In search of the familiar;

Looking into the ordinary

To find the exceptional.

When they see me passing by,

People from both sides of the tracks,

Look at me with wonder…

But don’t ask me where I am from;

I am from everywhere and nowhere.

I am an urban explorer,

And the city belongs to me.
