Introspect, Retrospect…
Today, at work, I participated in my first artist selection panel and among other things, what I have learned is that every artist should have a voice. Beyond the skills and the techniques, the artist should always speak with a clear and strong voice.
This made me look at my own work and ask myself if I had a voice as an artist? What kind or artistic sensibility do I project? It is certain that I use a lot of the same vocabulary language used by many architects who have decided to draw/paint…
Whimsical is a word that I would use to describe my work. A bit nostalgic when it comes to my landscape; dreamy at times. Introspect, retrospect… do I have a voice?

you have a voice in all that you do. every creative stroke is your opinion coming into reality. perhaps your voice is low with darkness or high with the brights but it’s all there. in all respects, your voice is present. whimsical, is a good word to describe your artistic voice but that’s just one adjective. there’s many more. 🙂 keep doing what you do!
Thanks for taking the time to write such a thoughtful comment. 🙂
🙂 No prob.
